Who is Michael Taylor ?
Michael Taylor is currently a 3rd year MFA Acting Candidate at the University of Iowa. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Michael quickly realized that he had a gift to make people laugh. After graduating from Urban Prep Englewood High School, he took his talents to Jackson State University, and in 2021 received his BA in Speech Communication with a concentration in Theatre. While at JSU, Michael performed in several shows. Portraying roles such as Flip Levay in "StickFly", and Levee Green in "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom". Immediately after Jackson State, Michael went on to pursue his MFA in Acting at the University of Iowa. Since arriving in Iowa, he has performed in shows such as "The Bacchae" and "Ugly Lies the Bone". With one semester remaining, Michael plans to move to Atlanta to pursue a professional acting career.
